Flu season peaks from December to March, but the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that people receive their vaccinations October through February to avoid the flu.

We are able to provide flu vaccinations for Medicare-enrolled Seniors (and disabled individuals who are enrolled in Medicare) at no charge to the individual. Proof of Medicare health insurance is required so that their plan can be billed for the covered vaccination. All Medicare Advantage Plans are eligible including: Highmark Security and Freedom Blue, UPMC for Life, Health America Advantra and Gateway Assurance. Individuals not enrolled in Medicare pay a nominal fee for the vaccination
